Procedure: Liposuction
of the abdomen, medial thighs, flanks, buttox
and back.
Patient
Concerns: This 53 year old female
was 5’4” tall, weighed 139 pounds.
She was concerned about the fullness of
the abdomen, medial thighs, flanks, buttox
and back.
Dr.
Markus’ Treatment: Unfortunately,
some bulges and disproportion cannot be
lost through mere diet and exercise. Suction
lipectomy was performed. Internal ultrasound
was used in multiple areas to break up fat-cells
and adhesions. This technique allows the
doctor to attain smooth results when treating
the firm fibrous tissues of the flanks and
back. A total of 2,975ccs (6.5 pounds) of
fat tissue was removed.
Multiple
areas of fat accumulation can be safely
treated at the same time. With new techniques,
it is possible to sculpt multiple areas
during one surgical procedure.
Patient
Comments: She is pleased with the
results and went down 1 dress size. There
was a significant improvement of the upper
back rolls. “My body shape has remained
the same two years later. Results held steadily
– my expectations were met and I am
very pleased.”
